Dirge - Sakura Blossoms

Redrawing an old character for my original story, Dirge.

You may recognise Sakura from a drawing back in 2009, when she was called Vajra Sull. 'Sakura Blossoms' is what she asks to be called, but I've not decided on her birthname yet. It may change or stay Vajra.

This was started for fun, then I decided to incorporate it into my Uni re-sit work,  so I tried a little harder I suppose. There are actually a number of pieces I made for uni that I haven't uploaded until I submit the work, but I wanted to get this out now while I'm still happy with it.

The design is mostly the same from the original. I extended the longer sleeve to the wrist, made one leg solid white, and changed her shoes from ballet slippers to flat wedges. Her clothes are now covered in swirls too, but I don't think that will survive upload compression.

For anyone interested: She's small, like 5'1'', but her nano-mutation allows her to alter the molecular density of whatever she touches on a whim, allowing her to carry the huge scythe like it's made of paper, then land blows with the force of a speeding truck.
