Monster 2 - Stumpette, Fairsprite, Lumbaxe

More designs for my friend's monster-collecting RPG in the works. These are fast concept pieces, so please excuse the roughness.

Here we have Stumpette, Fairsprite and Lumbaxe. The theme here was "wood sprite", with Fairsprite (the first one drawn) being inspired by a popular Nintendo IP. Stumpette may just be the cutest thing I've ever drawn. Refer to the side-bars for relative sizes.

Stumpette is a combination of 'stump' and the '-ette' suffix, which denotes something small. Fairsprite is a portmanteau of 'fairy' and 'sprite', which is also a fairy, but is specifically alluding to wood sprites and a certain fairy-boy. Lumbaxe is of course a portmanteau of 'lumber' and 'axe'.
